Is it possible to choose morning or afternoon lessons?
Courses are scheduled into either morning or afternoon blocks, but the school cannot guarantee placement in one session or the other. You can however, specify your preference on your application form and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Do you have evening classes?
We offer private one-to-one evening classes but not group ones.

Which DELE exam sessions do you offer preparation for?
We offer DELE exam preparation for all DELE exams: April, May, July, October and November.

Is the course material included in the course price?
Yes, it is. Your teacher will provide you with free course material and you will be loaned a course book. If students are interested in buying the book, copies are available to purchase for just 17€.

How many students are there in the classes?
The maximum number of students per class is 10, but the average is 4-5. During the winter months, groups are usually smaller than in summer time.

Does your school require a placement test?
Yes, students with some knowledge of Spanish will be asked to take an online test to determine their Spanish level. When a student does not take the test, the school cannot guarantee the right placement.

How can I find out what my present level is?
The test results are not usually shown to the student but we will be happy to provide them upon request. Please note that our test is for our internal use only and will not certify your exact level since it does not cover every aspect. On your first day, the Director of Studies will engage the student in a small conversation in order to evaluate their oral skills.

What happens if I am the only student in a particular level?
Adult groups are between 3-10 students. If a particular level has less than 3 students then the number of lessons will be reduced. (For example: 3-10 students = 4 lessons, 2 students = 3 lessons, 1 student = 2 lessons). Please be aware that a reduction in the number of lessons does not mean a delay in a student’s progress. The same topics will be covered regardless of the course duration, as smaller groups allow for more content to be covered in less time.

Will I get a certificate at the end of the course?
All our students receive a Certificate of Attendance that specifies the level and the contents covered upon completion of the course. Please, note this is not an official certificate.

Please be advised that no refund will be given if you change to a less expensive course. TLCdénia is here to accommodate your needs and to ensure that you have the best possible experience.
